Research interests: critical theory, democratic theory, American political thought, history of political thought, existential philosophy, nations/nationalism, race/ethnicity, political violence and extremism, community engagement, philosophy of education, critical pedagogy

I currently teach at Quinnipiac University in the Department of Philosophy and Political Science. I earned my PhD from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, my MA in Political Science from Lehigh University, and my BA in Philosophy and Political Science, also from Lehigh University.
